Heating your home or business with an electric heating system has never been as efficient or easy as it is today. With so many different types of electric heating systems, i.e. Heat Pumps, In-floor cable heat, Cove heating or baseboard, there is system to fit every room of every home. Although Charles Mix Electric does not sell heating equipment, we very much promote the installations of safe and reliable electric heating systems. Many very capable contractors in our area sell and install various types of high quality electric heating systems. So our expertise is in providing a means for our customers to size and purchase the equipment.
Charles Mix Electric offers loans up to $5000 for new air to air heat pumps, or up to $10,000 for new geothermal heat pumps. These loans are at 5% annual interest for up to 7 years, and are available for the installation of heating equipment, ductwork, service upgrades or anything else to support the installation of new HVAC equipment.

Special heating rates are available to members who use electric heat as their primary source of heating. A kWh meter must be installed to register the electricity use of the heating system to qualify for these special rates. All Metering is at the customer's expense. Present electric heat rate is 4.3¢ per kWh.
